AOC ALSACE RIESLING
LIEU-DIT ALTENBOURG
2016

11,35

Bottle of 750 ml

Description

SITUATION: Located at an altitude of 300m – Kientzheim

SOIL NATURE: Marno-Calcairo-Sandstone

HARVEST: Manual, in 100 kg bottiche and delivered to the grape harvester as quickly as possible to prevent oxidation.

VINIFICATION: The juices are cold settling and ferment in stainless steel vats between 18 ° C and 20 ° C. Fermentation lasts about 1 month then the wines are stabilized and kept in vats until bottling. During this period the wines are regularly checked at the analytical and taste level.

TASTING NOTES: Yellow color with golden reflections. The nose delivers subtle aromas of fresh pineapple, slightly candied, fresh mango, passion fruit and apricot, after aeration. After a fairly lively but well-balanced attack, this elegant wine creates emotions that we would like to feel more often! Very expressive on the grape variety, it confirms the notes of mango and passion and leaves the taster in a state of lasting well-being. The finish is marked by a beautiful bitterness, harmonious and long to perfection.

A great wine to keep !!!
