AOC Alsace Gewurztraminer Sélection 2011

Silver medal at the Inernational Wine Challenge 2012

In the glass glitters bright suns-yellow, first the Gewurztraminer 2008 hold back in the nose, while later notes of rosewood, licorice and some ivy reveal. With some air fruity floral aromas join like apricots and acacia flourish, in addition. In the palate this youthful Gewürztraminer shows what with some maturity from him can become: than the juicy sweetness entices the delicate acid and the strong body gives together with the minerality the crispy bite. A long fragrant-spicy departure forms the seductive conclusion. A wine of full ease and romanticism, at the same time uncomplicated and charismatic - as made for hours full of togetherness.
